Upstream E & P
In line with its vision to be a strong integrated oil and gas company, MIIG diversified into the upstream sector in 2008. Our upstream portfolio has since grown to four Joint Venture Assets in the Sub-Sahara African region. MIIG will continue to further develop the exploration potential of its existing acreages, and acquire more upstream assets to boost its oil and gas production base. The expansion of MIIG’s businesses creates and delivers sustainable future growth for company.
Today, MIIG’s exploration and production (E&P) portfolio comprises three Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) in the works, and two exploration permits in Ghana. Its E&P footprint extends across three Sub-Saharan African countries – Ghana, Guinea Conakry, and Equatorial Guinea.
MIIG’s E&P assets are mainly focused in the Sub-Sahara African Region. MIIG will continue to extend its footprint within the region and further beyond as we positions ourselves to become an international E&P player. While increasing our E&P acreages, the MIIG carries out rigorous appraisal and evaluation of existing properties, utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
